Transportation & Directions

To get to the event venue, here are the most common public transportation options,

From any İzmir Metro station, take the metro towards Kaymakamlık and get off at Dokuz Eylül Hastanesi station. Please note that İzmir Metro and İZBAN are separate railway systems. Halkapınar and Hilal stations serve as transfer points between the two lines. From Dokuz Eylül Hastanesi station, the venue is approximately a 10-minute walk.

Alternatively, you can take an ESHOT bus (510, 650, or 969) towards Balçova. Get off at the final stop — the venue is just a 1–2 minute walk from there.

Please double-check routes and connections from your starting location via the official ESHOT, İZBAN, or İzmir Metro websites.

By Plane

Nearest airport: Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB)

Distance to Balcova: ~25 km
Estimated time: 30–40 minutes
Airport shuttle (Havas): Airport ↔ Konak
Taxi: ~900–1000 TL (2026 estimate)
Private transfer: booking recommended

Tip: Take the Havas shuttle to Konak, then continue to Balcova by metro or bus. For maximum comfort, consider booking a transfer in advance.

By Train

Izmir Basmane Station or Alsancak Station

From Basmane to Balçova: ~12 km
From Alsancak to Balçova: ~15 km
Metro: Basmane → Dokuz Eylül Hastanesi (then 10 minutes walk)
Metro: Basmane → Balçova (then ESHOT Bus)
ESHOT: 510 → Balçova Son Durak (then ~1-2 mininutes walk)
Taxi: Alsancak to Balçova ~800–900 TL (2026 estimate)

Tip: Take the Kaymakanlık metro from Basmane to Dokuz Eylül Hastanesi. We recommend getting an Izmirim Kart for public transport.

By Bus

Izmir Intercity Bus Terminal (IZOTAŞ)

Distance to Balcova: ~25 km
Estimated time: 40–50 minutes
ESHOT routes: 560 to Halkapınar Metro Station
Metro: Halkapınar → Dokuz Eylül Hastanesi (then 10 minutes walk)
Taxi Bus Terminal to Balçova: ~1300–1400 TL (2026 estimate)

Tip: Take ESHOT to Halkapınar Metro Station, then walk to Balçova. Using an Izmirim Kart is usually the most economical option.
